Reservations

To make a hotel reservation for Supercomputing '94, you must call the WCVA Housing Service at:

Please have the following information ready:
  1. Name of convention (Supercomputing '94)
  2. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice of hotel.
  3. Arrival/departure dates, number of rooms required, type of room (single, double, etc.).
  4. Fax number (if you would like your confirmation faxed to you).
  5. Credit card type, account number, name printed on card, and expiration date.
  6. Daytime telephone number.

Deposit

A $125.00 per room deposit is required for all reservations. The deposit amount is payable by credit card or check.

Credit Cards: Your credit card will be charged immediately. Most major credit cards are accepted. Your room confirmation will be sent upon acceptance of your credit card charge.

Checks: An invoice for the $125.00 per room deposit will be mailed to you.

Payment must be received within 15 days of the invoice date or your reservation will be cancelled. Do not send payment without an invoice stub.Your room confirmation will be sent upon receipt of your check.

Changes

Through Friday, October 14, 1994, all changes should be made with the WCVA Housing Service. After October 14, 1994, changes should be made with the hotel directly.

Cancellations/Refunds

Cancellations made on or before Friday, October 14, 1994, should be made with the WCVA Housing Service and will be refunded in full. The WCVA Housing service will issue the refund. Cancellations made after October 14, 1994, and prior to 72 hours before arrival should be made with the hotel. A $10.00 fee will be deducted from your deposit. The hotel will issue the refund. YOUR RESERVATION MUST BE CANCELLED 72 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL OR THE ENTIRE $125.00 DEPOSIT IS FORFEITED.

Child Care

Several of the conference hotels have agreed to host child care programs during the week of the conference if there is enough interest. If you would like to receive further information on this topic, please send email to kids@sc94.ameslab.gov. No one under the age of 16 will be admitted on the exhibit floor.
